2011 Sylvania 300 Winner
Tony Stewart wins 2011 Sylvania 300 at NHMS. Stewart fell out of the lead when he ran out of gas here a year ago, went to the front when race leader Clint Bowyer, last year's benefactor of Stewart's hard luck, ran out of gas with two laps to go. It enabled Stewart to win back-to-back races in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.
2010 Sylvania 300 Winner
Tony Stewart ran out of gas with just laps to go, giving the lead/victory over to Clint Bowyer. It came down to gas mileage at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the NSCS 2010 SYLVANIA 300. This was Clint Bowyer’s 1st win of the 2010 season, his 3rd series career win and his 2nd series win at “The Magic Mile.” Bowyer also broke a 88 race winless streak, and this victory places him second in the series point standings in the “Chase”.
