In auto racing betting, whether
NASCAR or Formula 1, you can't only consider the skill of the
driver. There are many additional factors to be taken into
consideration when picking the race winner. Naturally, the
driver IS the most important factor. Teams that have, for
example, drivers such as Dale Jarrett and Jeff Gordon are going
to do well
just based on the driver. But the driver cannot win the race on
his own.
When auto racing betting, whether on Nascar or Formula 1, you
also need to consider the track. Some drivers do well on road
courses, while others seem to do better on the super speedways
or short tracks. Track and weather conditions can also influence
a car's handling ability, and some teams are better at adjusting
to changing track conditions than others.
Just as in betting on other sports, there are the flukes that
can make you a winner or loser when betting on auto racing, so
don't be discouraged by occasional strange results.
Betting on auto racing offers an exciting way to enjoy the
thrills of international motor-sports. There are many exciting
and popular worldwide competitions available. Wager on Formula 1
racing events, Nascar events, or wager on specific events like
the Daytona 500, Indianapolis 500, Winston Cup, or Grand Prix
races.

Chicagoland Speedway is a speedway in Joliet, Illinois, USA,
southwest of Chicago. The speedway is actually located several
miles south of Joliet proper, just off Illinois Route 53 between
Joliet and Wilmington, Illinois. It currently has a capacity of
75,000 people. Since its inaugural season in 2001, the
Chicagoland Speedway has became an unexpected and
significant draw for major NASCAR and IRL events, often selling
out major races months in advance.
Although listed simply as a D-shaped oval, Chicagoland is unique
in that it is one continuous curve, as the backstretch has a
noticeable bend to it.
From 1999 through 2000, the Chicagoland Speedway was built
adjacent to the older Route 66 Raceway.
In 2001, the Speedway opened with NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR
Winston Cup Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series, and IRL IndyCar Series
events.
The track features races from the NEXTEL Cup, the Busch Grand
National Series, ARCA, Indy Racing League, and the International
Race of Champions (IROC).
